A Adult Teaching Management System Design And Implementation

It is well-known that teaching management system is the core of a higher educational institution's administration management work. So both the scientific & standard management pattern and advanced & automated management tools contribute a lot to its future constructin and further development. As the rapid development of the information communications technology (ICT) and its popularization provide a university a functionally formidable information processing platform, management informationization has become an important means to improve its teaching controlling. Now if it implemented informationization management system effectively, it could achieve scientific teaching management, standardization, informationization and automation. Accordingly they will enhance the teaching management efficiency and cause each teaching link to be controllable so as to find the problem promptly and solve them. However, as each university differs greatly in teaching management pattern, it is hard to find an set of management system in common for all universities。Therefore, every university has developed its own featured teaching management system.After analyzing its current teaching management flow and existing pattern,this thesis generalizes several major functions the teaching management system must have--------basic data management, school register management system, data integration, student performance management and course scheduling. Considering that the school has three school districts and four extracurricular school spots and that a part of specialized teachers have to be employed from other schools,it adopts Browser/Server as development system. With regard to its system implementation,it uses Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as Data support and Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 as Integrated Development Environment , and it utilizes layered architecture to improve the system's extensibility and the module's reusability. In order to protect the school original investment ,the school register management system has carried on the data integration.。This thesis is composed of three key parts------ first, this system's research significance and feasibility; second, the system's design and its implementation; third, its summary and following work.In addition, this dissertation has made a detailed System Analysis and a specific explanation for the system implementation. The latter includes the system's various modules transfer flow, the school register management system, the system's data integration and the course scheduling management.
