Equipment monitoring and fault diagnosis is a focus on the researching the industry. To the highly mechanized, automated, continuous production of iron and steel production enterprises, equipment monitoring and diagnostic techniques are the indispensable technology of discovering the hidden peril of the equipment accurately, providing maintenance decision-making and guaranteeing normal productions. Boost fan is the key equipment of the sintering production process flows in iron and steel enterprises. This thesis study on the design content that combine with " S2250 boost Fan vibration on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis system " in some steelmaking plant and the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangxi Province (0650054) , S2250 boost Fan as our object investigated is maked. Boost Fan vibration on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis system is designed and developed. This thesis focuses on the design method and key technology of the vibration condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system.(1) The problem of present monitoring system was analysed. Test scheme for vibration monitoring was designed. All the gathered data was analysed and processed, and the reasons of the problem were found. So the feasibility and necessity of reforming present monitoring system was gived.(2) We studied and designed the general designed-scheme of the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system, identified the main functions of the system. Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of client / server (C/S) and browser / server (B/S) computing model, the mixed development mode of the networked system is proposed to combine with client/server(C/S) and browser/server (B/S).(3) We confirmed the general designed-scheme of the hardware system and conducted the selection and design of system hardware.(4) According to the demand of the vibration on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis system, we designed the software system, and the system-function module is confirmed, and the multilayer distributed network system architecture is proposed. We mainly studied the technologies of software design and development based on.NET and Ajax technology.(5) The whole developed system comes from engineering practice. Practice shows that the scheme of S2250 boost fan vibration on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis system by this thesis developed is reasonable and feasible which can meet the needs of enterprise production and bring the enterprise certain economic and social benefits by system convenient operation, the fast detection speed and monitoring data accuracy.
