In order to deal with the strenuous work of collecting datas in worksite efficiently and accurately and make it possible to monitor the project quality and health condition remotely and continually, in this paper, by using mechatronic technology, a solution way of building a remote monitoring system is presented, which uses instruments produced by Changsha Jinma Hightechnics Co. as its hardware components. The data from measuring devices is processed by supervisory computers and stored in database. After that, the data will be linked to the website on which the data can be checked by persons through Internet. All the users need to view the data is a computer with common browser such as IE or Firefox, so it's easy to use. The system has good generality because many force transducers diffusely used in constructions are compatible with it. The software for supervisory computer can be programmed by any advanced language, and ASP can be used to design the sever program. The task of software design is simple and flexible, and the functional extension can be easily achieved.The paper expatiates the operational principle of the system, how to build the system, the features of each hardware component, and the design of the software. At last, there is an application case for reference.
