During The "ta Kung Pao" (guilin Version) Speech Research

The opinion of the "Ta Kung Pao" (Guilin edition) fully demonstrates the news ecological evolution in Guilin during the period of the Anti-Japanese War. It comes into existence with the characteristics of variability, contemporaneity, selectivity and encompassment. With the methods of integrated investigation and detailed staged analysis, this thesis attempts to probe into the internal laws and relationships between news ecology and the supervision of public opinion. Furthermore, it also makes an effort to prove that the "Ta Kung Pao" (Guilin edition) is a sort of private newspaper that not only highly advocates anti-Japanese and saving the nation but also takes'national interest'as propaganda center.The first chapter, from the perspectives of both exterior and interior, analyzes the news ecology in Guilin during the period of the Anti-Japanese War, and presents the relationship between development of the "Ta Kung Pao" (Guilin edition) and news ecology environment in Guilin.In the second chapter, the thesis explores the opinion selection and concept development of the newspaper. From the diachronic perspective, this part divides the opinion selection into two periods: the period of stalemate as well as the period of striving for the victory, and it also concludes that the concept mainly lies in the Anti-Japanese War and saving the nation.Through summarizing and analyzing the literature style and structural characteristics of the newspaper, chapter three fully manifests the colorful literature styles and infective writing features.Chapter four does the research in terms of more exoteric history and current reality. It illustrates the contributive factors of features'formation and effects of public opinion, and revaluates unique worth and historical position of the newspaper. Besides, it also points out that the characteristics of localization and instantaneity carried by the opinion in the "Ta Kung Pao" (Guilin edition) shed light on supervision of the current public opinion with the characteristics of different-place and delayed-time.
