With advances in technology, Internet technology is the rapid development at an alarming rate. Internet media involvement, not only expanded the audience to receive information channels, changing the habits of the audience's reception, but the traditional means of communication has changed. This makes the traditional communication effects theory has been challenged. In this paper, sociology, communication, psychology, theory, selected years 2008 to 2010, the hot spots occurred in 256 events as research material. Classification of this paper, the combination of case studies and key research methods, analyzes the network media propagation effects on social hot events the impact that the original "butterfly effect", "Matthew", "third person effect "Theory of communication effects such as the new media age had varying degrees of change. Internet changing the propagation to some extent for this situation, the paper concludes with a network of social media age should hot events strategy.
