The aluminum foil separate-winding is an important working procedure. A separate-winder is a finishing equipment in the aluminum foil processing. The separate cutting quality of a separate-winder has an important impact on the quality of aluminum foil and the rate of final products. The paper is proposed on the aluminum foil separate-winding system in an aluminum fabrication company, to analyze and study the supervisory control system of the aluminum foil separate-winding in detail, describes the ideas of the system design and implementation.At first, by analyzing the process flow, principle and the course of the aluminum foil separate-winding, the paper brings forward that in the whole control system the controlling for tension affects directly the quality of the aluminum foil final products scrolls. The system controls the tension indirectly by control the velocity of the separate-winding electromotor, which modulates the velocity using double closed loop DC. The AutoMax DCS of Reliance electric company is used in the system to realize the velocity modulation of DC drive system on the rewind machines and achieve the logic and interconnected control in mill auxiliary systems. The control system program is developed with AutoMax Programming Executive 4.1. The upper monitor using an IPC-610L industry computer of Yanhua to supervise. The supervising software is Rockwell RSView32 of America. Using the OPC technology, realizes the data exchange between the upper and the down part, while the RSView32 as OPC Client and the RSServer as OPC Server, to get real-time acquisition of equipment status and important parameters of the aluminum foil separate-winding control system.The design has been used and worked well in the factory.
