The 20th century has witnessed the rapid development of social productivity and science technology. Consequently, vocational institutions have transformed their educational policy to focusing on practical skills training based on real job situations and work flow so as to meet the requirements of the human resources market. The project training emphasizes on teaching and training through the course of simulating real production process so as for the students to get familiar with their future working situations and to develop qualities needed in their future jobs, while the traditional lab teaching only settles for experiments and testing, which is largely deviated from the requirements of the industry. With the popularity of the project training, its bases established by vocational institutions are expanding increasingly, with richer training projects and more students involved, and the periodicity and duration are becoming standardized as well. Researches on the effectiveness of its resources management and training arrangements are also to be put on the agenda. All these factors make it necessary to apply computer-based management in the project training, and hence leading to the exploitation of the Project Training Management System. The Project Training Management System is intended to use computer softwares for auxiliary management by establishing brand-new multi-dimensional management objectives in terms of periods, classes, training bases, trainers, and training facilities so as to reach an effective implementation of the training projects and full use of training resources. The Project Training Management System broke through the traditional course scheduling model, taking phases, instead of periods, as the basic unit to satisfy the requirements of simulated production processes, which is completely suitable for promotion in vocational institutions and training agencies.
