Talent resource is one of the major problems,which should be researched and solved in the course of social and economic development. The forecast of the demand and development of talent resources is the starting point and foundation of talents work. A scientific and reasonable forecast of the medium-and-long-term demand of talent resources,which allows for social and economic development,can provide scientific support in talents development strategy. Research home and abroad shows that scientific technologies and economic development have been integrated mutually nowadays,more attention should be paid to the relationship between scientific-technical progress,social and economic development,and the forecast of talents demand and structure change. There should be some innovation in the forecast methods of the medium-and-long-term demand of talent resources. The traditional forecast method of the demand of talent resources has its limitations. The combination forecasting method,which is made up of several forecasting models,is a good method. Nowadays,Chengdu is in a key development period,in which urban energy level increases quickly and urban function transforms comprehensively. The accelerating transformation,upgrade and development of Chengdu's economic society have raised a new demand for the quantity,quality and structure of talent resources. The thesis has made a research on the medium-and-long-term demand of talent resources of Chengdu,which will enrich the research on the forecast of medium-and-long-term demand of talent resources. It will also provide help and reference for decision making on talents strategy of Chengdu. The main content and creation of the thesis can be summarized as the followings:Firstly,the thesis has systematically made a qualitative and quantitative analysis on the talent resources status and medium-and-long-term development environment of talent resources of Chengdu,which has provided the foundation for a systematical quantitative forecasting on the medium-and-long-term talent resources demand of Chengdu.Secondly,the thesis has used the comparative forecasting method and proper forecasting model to forecast the demand gross and structure of talent resources. The result accords with the reality. This shows that the forecasting method and model are quite reasonable,operable and practical.Thirdly,the thesis has pointed out the basic approaches,expected goals and development strategy of medium-and-long-term development of talent resources of Chengdu,which are nichetargeting and practical. It can provide support for the decision making of the medium-and-long-term talent resource strategy of Chengdu.
