The great changing competition presented enterprise the challenge of highly effective operation. The cost of the operation and the management through each way is unceasing climbing. It is appeared far insufficient to merely rely on members' task performance, therefore more and more attention is focused on contextual performance. It refers to the staffs who are paying extra contribution out of his responsibilities and promote harmony atmosphere. Numerous researches have pointed that person organization fit can predicted attitude variables, but is lack of outcome variables such as performance levels and turnover rate, and especially lack of the study on contextual performance.The paper focus on the relationship of person organization fit and contextual performance on knowledge staff in Chinese with empirical study. The contextual performance scale is developed by James R.Van Scotter & Stephan J.Motowidlo,then was accurately translated by Wang Hui and the person organization fit scale is developed by Zhao Hongmei on the basis of the development of Zheng Boxun study. Study the present situation on person organization fit and contextual performance now in China with 295 questionnaires,to analysis the interaction mechanism between the two variables. Research results show that each dimension of person organization fit is significantly positively related to contextual performance and its dimensions. Also, person organization fit can forecast contextual performance and task performance, especially more employees respect and performance orientated fit can predict more contextual performance. Person organization fit can also significantly predict Interpersonal facilitation and Job dedication. Similarly, different population statistics' individual variable also has the significantly differences to contextual performance and its dimensions. The study shows the older the person,the higher education background or the higher position will show higher contextual performance. Finally,the future prospects,the shortage and the suggests of this study were presented.
