The phenomenon of the aging of the whole international society is very serious. At the same time, it is the 10th year that China has marched into the aging society, 2009. Facing up the changing society environment, in order to make more and more old people fit into and contribute to the society by changing themselves and improving their living quality, how to fulfill the development themes that constructing a learning society in which all the people will learn and pursue life-long education raised by The Communist Party in the Sixteenth National Party Congress and buildng the modern lifelong education system proposed in the Third Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee of the Party. It all depends on developing the values and strategies of the aged education. At present, there is something wrong in the progress of the aged education integrating with local communities. So we need to construct a full set of protection mechanism to improve the quality of the aged education.In this paper, X District of Shanghai is chosen for study. The method of literature review, questionnaire and interview are applied to focus on the design and research of the aged education proceeding to the communities. Research questions of this thesis are also listed in it. From macro and micro perspectives, this paper brings forwarded the conceptions and suggestions of the protection mechanism of the aged education communitization.The findings of the survey are as followings:(1) The wrong understanding of the aged education undertaking keeps it from developing in depth. In order to bring about the pleasant society atmosphere, government at all levels and the competent authorities should focus more on and expand more propagation and try hard to switch the wrong concepts.(2) The old system which barriers between higher and lower levels and between different departments or regions prevents the aged education undertaking from further development. There are many disadvantages of the old mechanism and we need to build a new set of management system which has clear definition of powers and responsibilities.(3) The shortage of funding and programming becomes one of the reasons which result in the poor quality of the aged education at the grass-roots level. On the premise of the national funding, the correlative management institutions and sections should try various channels to raise money to ensure the aged education undertaking develops in order.(4) We should pay more attention to the shortage of the full-time teachers, the aging of the teachers and the simple structure of the knowledge in the process of the aged education communitization. So, it will efficiently improve the quality of the qualified teachers by building a steady team of the full-time teachers and a set of training and assessment system.(5) At present, the content of the aged education should not only focus on the hygienic education and leisure time education but also on the reforming life content and going beyond life content, especially in the later.(6) In the progress of the aged education undertaking communitization, the shortage of educational infrastructure coexists with the leaving unused educational resources. We need to build the correlative mechanisms by integrating and reforming the whole social education resources and other public resources to resolve the infrastructure shortage problem and make good use of the public resources.In the end, this paper proposes that we construct a set of protection system during the process of the aged education communitization...
