Teaching And Learning Of High School Classical Poetry

The New Curriculum for Senior Chinese Teaching(the new curriculum for short) requests that the students should learn the Chinese ancient excellent works and sense the Chinese national spirit expressed in them so as to lay the foundation of knowing Chinese traditional culture.Poetry is an elegant art and becomes outstanding in Chinese literary history thanks to its precise language,abundant imagination and sincere feelings.For two thousand years, poets have created a series of forms of peoms,covering Poen 300,Chu Ci,Han Yue Fu and poems in different dynasties from Wei to Yuan.Based on the sifgnificance,status and current situatiuon of classical poetry teaching, the thesis carried on some trials about teaching both its contents and forms.The author hopes this thesis will be of some help to teaching classical poetry in Senior Middle School.
