Chinese classical poetry carries excellent culture of Chinese nations. It is great thoughts ofancient people and treasures of Chinese nation’s excellent culture. However, for its thousandsof history, most parts of it have lack of understandings to the model life. Chinese classicalpoetry is essence of Chinese culture. The ancient Chinese characters are the style of it whichneed of explaining and forming. Its contents are concise and connotation which need of readingand appreciating. Because of these reasons there is a difficult in teaching classical poetry. Thetraditional model of” Spoon-feeding” and “Cramming method” can not satisfy the request ofquality education. There always have some students who are hate to learn classical poetrybecause of the wrong teaching methods that the teachers have used.Methods of”to the poem poetry”,”Differing the poetry with the poetry”,“Music in poetry”,“Painting the poetry” and “Translating the poetry” lead and assist students to learn classicalpoetry. Its variety of teaching form,rich teaching content,edged teaching principle make adifference in motivating students’interest, extending students’vision and enforcingstudents’aesthetic consciousness.There are some parts in teaching Chinese classical poetry’s methods of “Explaining thepoetry with the poetry”: The meaning of it, the connotation and theoretical basis of it, basicprinciple of it,overview teaching method of it and notes of it.
