Higher Vocational Education Development Problems And Countermeasures

Higher vocational education is an important component of the higher education, and also an important component of the vocational education system. Since the reform and opening, China's higher vocational education has made leaps and driven in the basic role and strategic position in the socialist modernization. However, because of the impact of the cultural traditions and educational concepts, especially the long-standing neglect and other social constraints, China's development of higher vocational education walk difficult. China's higher vocational education started late, but also educational practice ahead of the educational theories of the cause. Therefore, "Why should actively developing higher vocational education" and "what kind of development of higher vocational education" and "how to develop higher vocational education" and so on a rational look at these issues before us is a major issue.This paper will be based on China's higher vocational education and the history of enrollment, the regional distribution of higher vocational institutions, investment funds, teachers, the employment situation, understanding and grasp of China's higher vocational education status quo and development trend comprehensively, analyze the major problem and the reasons of China's higher vocational education, clarify the importance and urgency of higher vocational education further. Based this, according to the economic and social needs of higher vocational education, promoting the countermeasures of China's higher vocational education and healthy development, including clearing the positioning, prominent school characteristics, and creating a development environment, optimizing professional settings, training of high-quality teachers, improving the investment mechanism, strengthening communication with the community, establishing and improving the quality of education evaluation system, and so on.
