Nanjing University Tennis Resource Utilization Effectiveness Studies

Tennis has been increasingly accepted by modern college students in universities and gradually promoted, which is stylish and elegant, holding a profound cultural background of the movement. At the present, tennis sports of University in Nanjing have developed to a certain scale with the popularity of the sport in society. But how fully and effectively make use of existing tennis resources of Nanjing University, in order to promote the development of tennis sports of University in Nanjing? This important issue will be placed at various colleges or universities managers and workers in Nanjing.In response to the issue depicted upwards, this paper is completed based on University in Nanjing setting up tennis course as investigation objects. And adopt many methods including questionnaire investigation, interview investigation, literature datum investigation, Statistic analysis investigation and many other methods to research. What we do aims to put forward reasonable countermeasure about use of current tennis resources efficiently. Through the popularization of tennis sports, we can bring into play the cultural factors of tennis and improve the overall quality of students, and enhance the development of the campus culture, incarnate the social value of tennis.Based on the diagnoses, We conclude that because the leaderships of university don't pay enough attention to tennis sports, which cause the shortage of the facility like tennis courts, limiting enthusiasm of college students to study tennis. Lacking of the development of tennis in university, wanting systemic teaching materials on tennis, and teachers being weak in teaching experiences, besides those teachers having few chances to study and train. These factors result in simplifying the ways of teaching in class and lowering the scientific research level, and finally lead most of the students could not master basic skills and the technology of tennis in practice in the limited time . In teaching practice, teachers could not penetrate tennis culture into classes to advance themselves in sentiment and choiceness characters. Also it can't form nicer tennis sports atmosphere. Insufficiently is full to the Nanjing University tennis extracurricular resources development, mostly the university has not established the tennis high level Sports Team, because various universities tennis associations lack the university tennis teachers long-term, the fixed technical guidance, between various colleges and universities lack certain competition exchange, thus limit tennis technology, tennis culture better dissemination.
