In the economical globalization and gradually furious international competition, many countries and governments focus on the promotion of people's diathesis and the cultivation of high making, which provide the important developmental opportunity for College. However, with continually spread of higher education in our country, higher education is confronted with the more and more furious and cruel challenge and competition. If we remain invincible in the international competition, our higher education must continually renovate with the time development. The essential of renovation is the promotion of service quality, which is the key of higher education'success or defeat. Teaching quality and the quality of person with ability lies on the teachers'making, teachers'hearty work passion, and the exertion of teachers'creation. In the furious modern competition, college teachers, especially teachers in science and engineering course, endure overabundant pressure. The stress result in the decline of work efficiency, the decrease of work passion and the health of body and mind. So, we will study the methods coping with work pressure of teachers in science and engineering course, which is the main approach that improve teachers'work motivation and college's benefit and quality.Through the systemic explanation on theory of work pressure and the investigation on teachers in science and engineering course, we formed the questionnaire which have the high confidence and validity. Using the questionnaire, this study investigated 568 teachers from six higher occupational college in Shandong province. The results indicate that organize manage, social support, vocational development, interpersonal relationships, work guarantee and work environment are the main factors that influence the work pressure of college teachers in science and engineering course. And the age difference, gender difference, the title of a technical post difference were investigated on above seven factors. On the basis of these results, we provide the corresponding intervention strategy: (1) insist in the guidance idea of"people oriented"; (2) design the people foremost pay system, and put EAP in practice; (3) make up the good organization culture as inspirited environment; (4) form the method of self- motivation; (5) form the open and reasonable teacher performance check mechanism; (6) teachers should learn about the self regulation, appropriate catharsis, reasonable attribution and the plan of putting off the pressure.
