With the reform and development of higher education deepening, the roleof administrative personnel in colleges and universities looks moresignificant and, in some degree the high or low level of managementdetermines the development of a college or university. Therefore it is veryvital to strengthen the accomplishment check-on of administrative personnel,enhance the quality of administrative personnel, stimulate their workenthusiasm, and improve there work efficiency. From the situation of thepersonnel system reform in our present colleges and universities, to setup the post is a premise, employment is a key, allocation is a means andcheck-on is a guarantee. Although the idea of reform and development is clear,there is much scarce of management means and technology in modern personnelresources. Especially with the reform deepening, the requirements ofstandardization, systemization and scientization on check-on become moreand more high. In colleges and universities, the administrative personnelare very special people. Owing to the uncertainness and complication of jobs,it is more difficult, to check on their work. This article, from the angleof theory and practice, completely analyzes the accomplishment check-on ofadministrative personnel in colleges and universities, and probes in detailsinto the theory foundation of the accomplishment check-on, the qualityrequirements of administrative personnel, the present check-on situationof administrative personnel and its exiting problems and relevant reasons,index system design, the set-up of check-on standard, the choice of check-ontechnologies, the enforcement of check-on plan, and the feedback of check-onresult. On the basis of the above, this article puts forward tosuggestionsand solutions of strengthening the accomplishment check-on ofadministrative personnel in colleges and universities. At present, with fewresearchers and research achievements, the research on the accomplishmentcheck-on of administrative personnel in colleges and universities at homeis just a beginning. Because the theories of higher education and personnelresources management have been changing, the appearance of new technologies,new things and methods offers a lot of uncertainties. So, the guide line of the accomplishment check-on of administrative personnel in colleges anduniversities and check-on methods are not permanent and the research on theaccomplishment check-on of administrative personnel in colleges anduniversities should be improved and perfected. This article is only atentative research and awaits for check-on in practice.
