| Since 1980, China has released People's Republic of China Degree Statute for more than 20 years. Graduate education in our country obtained great progress, especially the recent 10 years; the scale of graduate education has climbed the peak. The rapid recruitment of graduate students is regarded as the necessity of economic development. Cultivating enough golden-valued elites is the premise of the relation and interaction between rapid recruitment of graduate education and economy development. If only emphasizing on scale and quantity, there is not guarantee of quality. The final result is decline of social credit; it will make a lot of waste of country's resource. So promoting the quality of cultivating is the lifeline and ultimate goal of graduate education.At present, there are some unresolved problems in the cultivating work. With depth of reform, there are still some new outstanding problems, mainly single cultivated goal, obsolete curriculum setting, lack of innovated capacity, existing cultivating mode cannot adapt to elites'personal development and cultivation of innovation. It hasn't set up applied cultivating mode of professional degree education yet. We face the challenge which the time put forward. How to conceive two characteristic cultivating modes scientifically and rationally, establishing academic and applied pluralistic cultivating mode and solving the problem in the cultivating process is the key task educators encountered. This article wants to take measures to make sure different kinds of cultivation mode making for the direction in order.This article are divided into four parts, first part introducing the history of American graduate cultivating mode, mainly experiencing the phase of learning Germany, phase of unique rising and establishing specialized cultivating mode and phase of rising and developing cooperated cultivating mode; Second part introducing our country's history of graduate cultivating mode. Since 1912, from first-established phase of learning Germany and Japan, to the phase of learning Germany and America ,to Soviet Union, to the phase of cultivating exploration alone before Cultural Revolution, to the phase of transformation from unitary to pluralistic. The third part through the contrast between China and America in cultivating goal, cultivating form and evaluation, it concludes that not only in macroscopically but also in microcosmic American cultivating mode has some rational advantages to learn. The fourth part I propose some advice to reform cultivating mode by analyzing history and status of China and America graduate cultivating mode. |
