In recent years,with the development of new technology and the acceleration of industrial transformation,the labor market has gradually deepened and compounded the requirements for applied talents.A mode which to break the boundaries of talent cultivation in different learning stages and to achieve systematically,through-type cultivating mode came into being.At present,the national policy is actively promoting this mode,and local education departments are also actively practicing it.In particular,Shanghai has proposed to the through-type cultivating mode as an important part of improving the high-level applied talent cultivating system.In this context,it is of great significance for the research on the topic of cultivating applied talents through the through-type cultivating mode.As a talent cultivating mode,the through-type cultivating mode has its own characteristics,such as a long cultivate cycle and so on.Whether it can meet the dual logic of market and education,we need to further rationally examine it,and cannot blindly expand its scale under the impetus of policies.Therefore,this research follows the question logic of "why—what—how—how to optimize",and revolves around a series of questions,such as "what is the role of the through-type cultivating mode in the cultivation of applied talents","what are the important elements of the through-type cultivating mode?","What is the current status of the implementation of the throughtype cultivating mode in the first-line talent cultivating units of vocational education ","what are the results achieved in the implementation process,and what are the problems?".Also,this research use literature research methods,survey research methods and comparative research methods to solve the upper questions.The main contents of this research are:(1)Analyze the important value of the through-type cultivating mode in the application-oriented talent cultivating system,and construct the key elements and analysis framework of the through-type cultivating mode.(2)Take Shanghai as an example to investigate the current situation,effectiveness and problems of the cultivating mode.(3)Based on the analysis framework of the through-type cultivating mode and the problems founded in the survey,learn from the experience of Taiwan,China and Japan in carrying out the through cultivating of applied talents.(4)On the basis of the above research content,put forward countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing the through-type cultivating mode in our country.The main conclusions of this research are as follows:(1)In the applicationoriented talent cultivating system,the through-type cultivating mode has the ability to make up for the limitations of single-stage applied talent cultivating,meet the needs of high-skilled applied talents,and realize the cultivation of compound talents.(2)Major settings,cultivating goals,and courses,as the key elements of the cultivating mode,need to follow the dual logic of education and the market,and their determination and implementation depend on good institutional guarantees.(3)Based on the survey,it can be seen that the operation of the Shanghai through-type cultivating mode is gradually standardized,which promotes the connection and interaction between secondary vocational education,higher vocational education and undergraduate education.At the same time,students who graduated from the cultivating mode have outstanding professional skills learning and a good employment situation.However,there are still problems in the implementation of the cultivating mode in Shanghai,such as lack of rigorous demonstration of major settings,lack of guiding significance of cultivating objectives,large arbitrariness in curriculum design and implementation,and certain lack of institutional guarantees.(4)Through comparative research,the technical and vocational education system,the “five-year specialized college” enrollment plan,and the key points for the implementation of specialized classes for industry-school cooperation in Taiwan,China are very distinctive and worthy of our study.In addition,its technical and vocational education curriculum reform,group subject curriculum mechanism,and skill field curriculum mode provide references for the construction of curriculum integration;the " model core curriculum " of Kosen and its quality assurance system provide references for improve the goals and guarantee mechanisms of throughtype cultivating mode.(5)Continuously optimize the cultivating mode.First,we must adhere to the market direction and clearly define the orientation of cultivating goals;in the process,we must standardize the curriculum setting,improve the assessment and evaluation,reform the enrollment mechanism in the system,and establish a good external quality assurance.
