Chinese College Students' Sense Of Urgency Education

The Hardship Consciousness is one important part of the spirit of the Chinese nation's traditional culture, a spiritual impetus to promote the advancement of the society. It is the historic mission that the contemporary Chinese college students shoulder, the international and domestic situation they face and the students their own situation that has decided it is necessary and urgent to conduct a hardship consciousness education among them.The article focuses on empirical analysis, systems analysis, consists on the link of theory and practice. On the theoretical vision, this article has jumped out of the narrow framework of the hardship consciousness education of college students in the scope of campuses, and stands on a high status of the whole society in which all people pay close attention to the hardship consciousness education of the contemporary Chinese college students. The purpose of this article is to explore a hardship consciousness education system which is suitable for the contemporary Chinese college students with comprehensive content, distinct levers, multi-dimensional educators, and diverse teaching methods.This paper attaches importance on analyzing the problems on the hardship consciousness of the contemporary Chinese college students and the causes of it. And proceeding from this, the paper explores the principles, content and channels on the hardship consciousness education of the contemporary Chinese college students. Specifically, the main parts of the paper are the following:Introduction is a brief description on the significance and the existing shortcomings of the hardship consciousness education of the contemporary Chinese college students.The first part is the analysis of some basic concepts. The hardship consciousness is a special awareness in People's heart which is formed because of the existence of various crises in the world. The basic content of the hardship consciousness includes a sense of crisis, a sense of worry, a sense of urgency, a sense of responsibility and mission. The hardship consciousness of contemporary Chinese college students is a special type of hardship consciousness which is an important component of the ideological and political education in current Chinese universities.The second part is the analysis of the situation of the hardship consciousness of the contemporary Chinese college students. The mainstream of the contemporary Chinese college students' hardship consciousness is positive and healthy, but there are also many problems. For instance, the scope of the hardship consciousness has not completely developed, and the high-level hardship consciousness has not well developed, and at the same time, the positive and correct hardship consciousness has not been healthily cultivated. General speaking, the situation of the hardship consciousness of the contemporary Chinese college students is still worrying. The students themselves, families, colleges and the whole society should take certain responsibility to the situation.The third part describes how to carry out the education of hardship consciousness for the contemporary Chinese college students. The contemporary Chinese college students' hardship consciousness education should adhere to three basic principles including the principle of orientation, the systemic principle and the practical principle. The current main content of the hardship consciousness education includes the nationality hardship consciousness, the personal hardship consciousness, the nature hardship consciousness and the internet hardship consciousness, and so on. Currently, we should expend the channels for the contemporary Chinese college students' hardship consciousness education and try to form a system for this: schools are the main battle field; families are the vital chain; the society is a big class; and the network is a new platform.The last part summaries the main idea of this paper, and points out the future direction of the research on the hardship consciousness education for the contemporary Chinese college students.
