Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Contemporary College Students Cultural Security Consciousness

Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has creatively put forward the overall national security concept,placing cultural security in a more prominent and important position.In today’s era,with the in-depth development of economic globalization,the infiltration and expansion of western capitalist culture makes China’s culture facing increasingly serious challenges,seriously impact on China’s cultural security.Contemporary college students are the hope of the country and the future of the nation,as well as the strong force to promote the construction and development of socialist culture.Their awareness of cultural security is directly related to their attitude and behavior towards national cultural security in the future,and directly affects the development trend of national cultural security in the future.Therefore,to strengthen the research on contemporary college students’ cultural security consciousness is of great and far-reaching practical significance for building a solid national cultural security.Through the questionnaire survey of some college students and the corresponding data analysis,it can be realized that the performance of cultural safety consciousness of contemporary college students has a positive side,but at the same time,there are some problems that need to be solved,mainly as follows: They blindly praise foreign western culture,lack confidence in excellent traditional Chinese culture,and lack strong cultural identification with mainstream socialist ideology.The main reasons for these problems are as follows: western foreign culture erodes students’ thoughts seriously,the spread of bad network information impacts students’ mainstream values,the cultivation effect of college students’ cultural safety consciousness is not good,and the cultivation of college students’ own cultural safety consciousness is still weak.It is necessary to adhere to the guiding position of Marxist theory,adhere to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,and ensure the cultivation direction of socialism all the time.It is necessary to develop a positive and healthy network culture,strengthen the supervision and management of network information,strengthen the guiding role of correct public opinion,and build a clean and positive network culture environment.It is necessary to enrich the content of education,broaden the way of education,strengthen the construction of campus culture,and enhance the effectiveness of college students’ cultural safety awareness education.College students themselves should deepen cultural safety knowledge learning and actively participate in cultural construction practice.Only in this way,can we guide college students to set up correct ideas,help college students adapt to the needs of social development,and grow up to be able to be entrusted with the responsibility of the new socialist era.
