Exploration On The Cultivation Of Contemporary College Students’ Citizenship Consciousness

The 17 th National Congress of the Party emphasizes the strengthening of civic education and the establishment of the socialist democratic rule of law,freedom and equality,fairness and justice.As the rational quality of a country’s citizens,civics is not only the ideological impetus to develop socialist democracy but also the basic work to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and realize the "Chinese dream".General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in his 19 th National Congress report that "Youth makes the country happy and youth makes the country strong".If the younger generation has ideals,competence and responsibility,the country will have a future and the nation will have hope.As an outstanding representative of the youth,the university students are the main force in the modernization drive.The state of their citizenship will directly affect the development of the whole society.Therefore,the cultivation of the citizenship consciousness of college students is of great theoretical and practical significance in our construction of socialist modern country.This paper mainly through the literature research method,comparative analysis method and sample questionnaire survey method to carry out the analysis research.This paper uses literature analysis to collect the results of this research field at home and abroad,and to study,compare and screen the collected data,so as to sum up the development trend of the current research situation and lay the theoretical foundation for the further research of the thesis.The comparative analysis method is used to compare the differences in the cultivation of civic consciousness at home and abroad,and on the basis of the comparison,to absorb the advanced experience from abroad,so as to provide useful enlightenment for the cultivation of civic consciousness of college students.Based on the existing research results of relevant scholars,the author puts forward some practical methods and strategies to deal with the deficiency of college students ’citizenship.This paper is divided into five parts,the first part of the introduction,mainly introduced the topic background and the significance of the topic,elaborated the formation of this article adopted a variety of methods to provide the means for the formation of the article.The second part is the elaboration of the main relevant concepts and the theoretical basis of supporting the subject.It mainly introduces the origin and development of the citizen,the citizen consciousness and the citizen consciousness,and at the same time provides an effective discussion on the rationality of the cultivation of the student’s citizenship.In the third part,the author makes a survey of the present situation of college students ’civic consciousness,and makes a summary of the present situation according to the questionnaire.In the fourth part,the author compares the domestic and foreign conditions of the cultivation of college students ’citizenship,and explores the advantages and characteristics of foreign countries in this respect.The fifth part is the emphasis of this article,according to the analysis of the present situation of college students ’civic consciousness,the corresponding cultivation principles and countermeasures,the cultivation of college students’ civic consciousness should follow the principle of people-oriented,unity of knowledge,consistency and continuity.The basic rights such as right to know,right to participate,right to supervise and right to speak are realized,and the growth of citizens ’consciousness is promoted.At the same time,through the establishment of scientific and complete content system for the cultivation of college students ’citizenship and the construction of a five-in-one training network,the process of the cultivation of college students’ citizenship is vigorously promoted.Finally,it is important to promote the citizenship consciousness of college students to carry out the specific activities to promote the unity of knowledge and behavior.The last part is the summary of this article.
