British Primary And Secondary Education For Sustainable Development Teacher Training Study

ESD is the abbreviation for the Education for Sustainable Development. ESD and ESD teacher trainings should be pay attentions since the United Nations Decade of Education more for Sustainable Development (UNESCO).In the august of 1999, National Curriculum was emended roundly from environmental education to ESD, and so did environmental teacher training. This paper provides some advices to develop ESD teacher training of primary and elementary schools through the study of its development history, goals, curriculum design, implement and effect, in order to promote ESD in our country.The author made some suggestions for ESD teacher trainings in future.
