Matrix and transformation is the main content of option course 4-2 of new curriculum standards of commen sinor. Matrix is a useful instrument in mathematics and has wide application in other subjects. It is also instructed systematically in university as an important part of linear algebra. In recent years, some knowledge of matrix is instructed in the senior school of other counties. Because of the importance of linear transformation and its wide use, matrix and transformation is put in the option course in new curriculum standards of commen sinor. This course mainly introduces the basic knowledge and idea of matrix and transformation through the transformation of geometry figure. The purpose to offer this course is to make the students have the basic idea of matrix,transformation etc and also help them study and work well.For most senior school teachers, Matrix and transformation are quite unfamiliar, though they have been learned as the major course in the university, as they haven't been contacted for a long time, most content has been forgotten, so it is a great challenge for the senior school teachers. Otherwise whether the knowledge could be understood by students or this course is suitable to open in the high school is uncertain, these all need examine by practice.In this circumstances, I choose "matrix and transformation" of option course-4 to study. This research could make some arrangements for carrying out new curriculum standards, and also offer some true,effective,reliable teaching resources for the teachers who will open this course. Besides, it is quite helpful to other mathematical option courses.There are five chapters in this paper. The first and second chapters describe the research background, reason and method respectively. This research has mainly adopted the method of action research which is a quite effective way of teachers' professional development. I hope my research could offer some useful experience for other teachers' teaching research..This paper centers on the third,forth,fifth chapter. Chapter 3 offers some preparations in the earlier stage of the lesson "matrix and transformation". Chapter 4 details the process of the curriculum implement and teaching tactics. Chapter 5 focuses on the introspection about curriculum implement and also gives some better plans for next teaching practice.
