"Let every teacher enjoy his own work!" Is it a beautiful and virtual idea?Anyone who chooses teaching as his career will probably try to seek happiness that belongs to him. Let us pay some attention to "the professional career" of the primary school teachers in rural areas as the dualistic vestige can be seen everywhere.It is quite significant to learn about the present state of the professional career of those teachers and analyze its influencing factors. And it is also quite helpful in improving the management in primary schools, and promoting the qualities of teachers' continual education.This study is mainly based on human resource theory, the teachers' professional development theory, the professional career cycle theory, and teachers' education theory etc. The adopted methods are primarily "literature study", "questionnaire", "statistic method" and "case research".On the basis of case research and scientific analysis of the present state of those teachers, the existing contradictions and influencing factors, the study offers reasonable and practical suggestions on promoting their professional development, and will help train qualified teachers and boost the advance of basic education as well.According to the study, some effective measures should be taken to manage teachers' professional career; to improve the living environment of primary school teachers in rural areas, to provide purposive teachers' continual education and to set up communication system for teachers in rural and urban areas. To sum up, the study will eventually improve teachers' vocational quality, and as a result basic education will be on a new stage.
