Normal Practice In The Education Of Primary School Teachers In Pre-

For many years pre-service teacher education has to some extent tended to put emphasis on academic improvement but neglect teaching ability development. Because of the neglect of development of students teaching practice ability, part of the graduates can not adapt themselves to the requirement of new work and what is worse it is hard for some graduates to find suitable jobs.The present paper starts with this current issue, uses the experiences of home and abroad teacher education and suggests offering a comprehensive normal college practical course and tries to put it into practice and makes an attempt to find out a new way to make a change of primary school pre-service teacher education. Its aim is to improve the college students' educational practice ability and shorten the span for the students to adapt themselves to the primary school work.This paper consists at four parts.The introduction offers definitions of comprehensive normal college practice activity. And then it briefly talks about the rationale for the study and reviews the researches related to the current study. It also presents the aim and methods of the study.Part Two focuses on the construction of comprehensive normal college practice course. It mainly discusses the theoretical foundation, the contents and the strategy of implementing the course.Part Three is mainly about the study on comprehensive normal college practice activity at the school of education of Changzhou Institute of technology that is preliminarily applying normal college practice activity.In Part Four the conclusions are drawn, followed by the implications of the study. It also provides the achievements after one-year normal college practice activity and the reflection on the assessment for normal college practice activity.
