| With the advancement of mass higher education in China, the enrollment of higher education has been expanding and the university graduates have been increasing. Due to some reasons, the employment problems of higher vocational institutes have gradually popped out, which have become the obstacle of the sustainable and healthy development of the higher vocational education .Basing on looking back the course of the higher vocational education and analyzing the current situation of its development, the thesis systematically investigates and analyzes the employment intention and mood of the 1400 graduates in 14 higher vocational institutes of Changsha and Nanjing by applying the case study. The result shows: their employment mood is good, but their employment expectation is a little high; the employment expectation of the graduates in Nanjing is higher than that of the ones in Changsha; the employment expectation of the male graduates is higher than that of the female ones ;some higher vocational institutes aren' t in terms of the demand of the society to run the school; the people in the society still look down on the higher vocational students etc .Then it analyzes the main causes of the employment problems of the higher vocational institutes by using the case study. It points out that main causes which lead to the difficult situation of the employment of the higher vocational institutes are: the school orientation not being exact, the setup of the specialty being irrational, the curriculum and teaching pattern being old, the teaching staff not reaching the demand , the training base being not guaranteed and the employment guide being not satisfied. Basing on it, some countermeasures and suggestion to solve them are put forward. |
