Since the human being came to existence, people began to explore the relationship among the God, nature and human being. Humanism is just the choice from these three. It is also the affirmation to self value and ability. Education, which is a key link in the social development, takes the responsibility to portray human being. Because of this, education inevitably has the character of human beings.To develop humanism has been the trend of the modern development of education. Meanwhile, history is an important part in education reform. To foster the humanism has been the core of history education reform.. But we have made some mistakes in the past because of the limitations of times. We rejected humanism and thought it had the capitalism element in the past. Even now, there are different opinions and realizations to the humanism research. There is no doubt that because of the rich connotation and the broad concept. Humanism in this paper is confined to the history teaching. In history teaching humanism reflects its' concept in education . In China, humanism in history teaching admits individual value which is based on the individual development and it emphasizes on people value and potential ability, making people experience the value of life, showing the concern for people's fate and laying stress on the world's development. All of these are based on the rational reality. And it also pursues the realm of the truth, the goodness and the beauty. Education reform has been a key issue that people focus on in the education field. Since the 8th curriculum reform, history education reform has achieved great successes. These successes have been spontaneously applied with humanism. For example, the formulation of curriculum standard and its core concept "To every student, to promote students' development" has reflected humanism. The competitive and diversified adopting to the textbook makes the editors change from "teachers teach textbooks" to "teachers teach with textbooks", which is a kind of new humanism. Teacher's status has changed from high "teacher" to equal and mutual respectable "teacher". The change of the relationship between teachers and students reflects the humanism. But this kind of reflection is only the reform in form in terms of the relation between humanism and modern history education reform. To understand and carry out the connotation of the humanism, scholars, teachers and students make efforts in history teaching. So in the modern reform, the reflection of humanism still has the bias and the deficiency. In the sense of history education reform and aim, the relationship between history educationreform, the history subject and some reform measures promoted now, the reflection of humanism still needs to be further strengthened. So we should still work hard in the links of the moral education, life education, civil education, long life education and aesthetic education.
