As a subject Chinese is a unity of the skill teaching and the humanism teaching. We should pay more attention to the both side, especially on the side of the humanism teaching. In the beginning the thesis analyzed and discussed the concept of humanism in the direction of China and other countries' education history and evolution. Then the thesis studied the pedagogy base and psychology base of humanism Chinese teaching. The thesis also studied what kind of humanism content it had or should had, including the aspects of Chinese teachers, textbooks and the standards of courses. At last from the aspects of reading, writing, talking and assessment by test, the thesis discussed the methods of humanism Chinese teaching in details. The main points of view were as follows:1 There are two different understanding of the humanism. Form the view of broad sense the humanism is all kinds of culture phenomena of human society and the deposition of human's life style. Form the view of narrow sense the humanism is the mental part of human culture, including the value concept, the morality, the taste ideology, the thinking method etc.2 Adding the humanistic education in full course of Chinese teaching is the request of the education's aim.3 All factors of Chinese teaching, including Chinese teachers, textbooks and the standards of courses, should have abundant connotations of humanism. This is the base of adding the humanistic education in the course of Chinese teaching.4 When we add the humanistic education in the course of Chinese teaching there are two kinds of works needed to do. The one is about the content of the humanistic education, including the mental part of excellent culture, especially the establishment of the value concept. The other is about the method of making Chinese teaching humanistic, including regarding the magistral statue of students, regarding the difference of individual and life experience.5 The humanistic education is the important part of Chinese education, but it is not the all part. In the course of Chinese teaching only when the value of Chinese and the value of tool are combined in good way, the task of the Chinese teaching can be done well.
