"History" replaced by "History and Social Studies" is an important adjustment in new curriculum reform.And with the concern that "History and Social Studies" has special influence on the process of humanism attainment.Humanism attainment becomes one important goal of "History and Social Studies".In the meantime,it also shows the new requirements for students in present time.The thesis is trying to distinguish and analyze the different teachings of curriculum of "history" between China and America for reference.There are five chapters:Chapter one, the introduction is including the China and America history scholars' general situation of humanism attainment, intention of the thesis and the sense of the research.Chapter two, the author expatiates the different teaching fundamentals and the humanism attainment rationales of history teaching generally.Chapter three is something about the design for teaching and the contrast of China and America history teaching aims, contents, methods and students' appraisement in order to "dig" similarities and differences.Chapter four, comparing and analyzing the China and America history teaching design cases, expatiates the dissimilarities in microcosmic aspects.Chapter five, the author pertinently brings forward the principles of cultivating humanism attainment in the history teaching.
