Cai Courseware Evaluation Techniques

Computer-Assisted Instruction is a rising synthetic computer technique which has rapidly developed during the resent 50 years. This technique popularly applied format is CAI courseware in educational field at present. But exploitation of CAI courseware in our country was in the stage exploring of depending on interests during a long time. In addition, estimate of CAI courseware has lacked a consummate and recognized evaluation system and evaluation methods just rest on simple quantitative methods such as fuzzy synthesized method and so on. These badly disturbed improving quality of CAI courseware and furthered low level repetitive exploitation. Affect the spread and application of CAI courseware in a certain extent.To accelerate the application of CAI courseware, further improve the standardization of CAI courseware, make management department of CAI courseware scientific evaluate CAI courseware, make users accurately choose CAI courseware, make researchers have criteria and aim to explore CAI courseware, we need to build advanced quantitative evaluation methods and constitute reasonable and consummate indexes' evaluation system of CAI courseware. These are two major factors to wirte this paper.Basis to support this paper are very abundant. In theory there are evaluation of Scriven, constuctivism and multiple intelligence theory. Mostly act as a direction of building indexes' evaluation system; in practice, the researches of courseware evaluation methods that have been widely applied inside and outside our country to get very well practical evaluating method basis. Mostly we use multiple-parameters quantitative evaluation method which instructs evaluation methods in this paper.Most researches in this paper have two sides. One side includes that combined with CAI courseware evaluation method in existence inside and outside the country we design investigation of choosing courseware indexes system, use hierarchical cluster and factor analysis method deal with investigating data to get more scientific and reasonable CAI courseware indexes' system, uses multiple-parameters quantitative evaluation method. The other side includes that after introducing fuzzy evaluation method which already widely applied, we use set pair theory, principal component-factor analysis and discriminant analysis in the first time build evaluation models; use the multilevel grey theory and analytic hierarchy process combined with evaluation of CAI courseware furthermore build evaluation models. For each theory we all build models and use data analytic demonstration method to check up their feasibility and validity.At last I hope these researches could give some help to others in foundation of indexes' system and quantitative evaluation methods of CAI courseware.
