This paper aims at exploring a new way for the poetry teaching, that is to combine the mood of poetry with the poetry teaching. The paper anilizes and studies the situation of the poetry teaching at the present time. By the influence with teaching for exams or with the quality of the teacher, there are many shortcomings in today' s poetry teaching, which break the exerllent poetry by destroying the mood of poetry. The goal to teach the students to discriminate beauty can' t be reached. So this kind of teaching can' t improve the students' qnalities in all fields. With appreciating about 20 classes of other teathers' poetry teaching, the auther of this paper reads a lot of books; looking up sevetal kinds of publications, as well as having meetings for discussion. The author accumulates many experiences by active exploring. At the samne time, the author also studies the concept of Chinese traditional aesthetic-the mood theory. On the base of reading many books of aesthetic, the author comes to the conclusion: It is one of the most important ways to realize appreciating and evaluing the poetry that is to make poetry teaching be well versed in grasping the theory. With the new view of this relationship, the paper gives us the detailed explanation for its necessaty and methods.
