As aesthetic objects, poetry can make teenagers' lives poetic and improve their souls; as part of aesthetic education, poetry teaching aims to guide students to gain the "eyes, ears and hearts" of poems through poetry aesthetic practice. However, it has been quite difficult for aesthetic education in poetry teaching. Under the influence of wrong poetry concepts and wrong poetry teaching concepts, many Chinese teachers abandon aesthetic teaching and make mistakes one after another. They change poetry into "non - poetry" in teaching, take poetry as other general language works, and only ask about "what to express" in poetry teaching. As a result, it is certainly difficult for them to enable students to learn the essence of poetry. When reading a poem, the first thing we should discuss is "what to create" .Poets create artistic conceptions in poetry, that is to say, continuous poetic meanings, feelings and tastes secreting behind the lines. The aims for poetry teaching are mainly as follows: to lead students to appreciate and apperceive the artistic conceptions in poetry, taste and apprehend the poetic meanings, feelings and tastes in poetry; to make students moved by artistic conceptions themselves and recreate and make the artistic conceptions to be their own treasures. This is the mystery of teaching poetry, so is the greatest difficulty.Artistic conceptions in poetry are together created by rhythm and images.
