Great changes have taken place in the value orientation of high school students nowadays, which requires us to follow the trend of the development of moral education in the new age and value innovation as well.The following is the connotation of the innovation of high school moral education.Firstly, the innovation of perspectives of moral education. It includes the combination of the guidance of teachers and self-determination of students, which helps to develop the self-consciousness, activeness and creativity of the educated; establishment of new perspectives of moral capacity, making the moral subjects able to tell right from wrong and to make the right judgment and moral choice and to do the right deed; establishment of new perspectives of moral environment, regulating managing behaviors of schools and optimizing their educational environment.Secondly, the innovation of the content of moral education. It includes strengthening the cultivation of the sense of regulation, helping students get to respect rules, not just obey the specific disciplines, rules and regulations; spreading moral education on biological environment inconsciousness, understanding, skills, values and attitudes; increasing moral education on internet, guiding students to gain relating internet moral knowledge through the combination of sense of technology and morality; renovation of political educational perspectives, making meaningful preparations in ideology for democracy of society.The innovation of high school moral education cannot go without inheritance and reference. For moral perspectives, moral content, moral methods, etc., we must inherit the active factors of traditional moral education as well as refer to the successful experience of western countries.The innovation of high school moral education is now facing the following barriers. The first is the practical social moral environment. Now the morality in the whole society is declining, which counteracts the efforts of innovation of moral education. Second, the national educational objectives have determined the small range of reforms in the content, methods, perspectives, etc. of high school moral education. The third is the influence of the examinations. In such a situation, all of the educational factors which cannot be shown through scores are given up.High school moral education is sure to move towards democracy and rationalism.
