In our country, Educational Technology has already been confirmed as a research field, but as a discipline, its development is still unripe, has not been approved by the academia yet. The symbol of ripe discipline lies in : The research object is not only clear, but also be different from other disciplines obviously; it has its own knowledge system, which can reflect objective law correctly; it can discern the relationship between other disciplines by its accurate localization; it has definitude and concrete guidance of philosophy ideology. The weakness of the basic theory of Educational Technology, becomes the bottleneck restraining Educational Technology from developing further again: Personnel both in practice field and in research field don't make out the essence of Educational Technology with its discipline and its research focal point, and people don't learn well the relationship between pedagogy and each branch discipline with its own. Its undergraduate course and its bachelor degree graduate outlet become a problem. All influence the future development directions of China Educational Technology and its discipline seriously.Therefore, Educational Technology one's own knowledge refining and introspection, to Educational Technology and its development of discipline,has far-reaching urgent theory value and practice value at present. To reach one's own knowledge of Educational Technology, this thesis introduces "Meta-"concept creatively, proposes "Meta-theory of Educational Technology", guaranteeing that it is going on under scientific theoretical research mode to "refine and review".In the article , through the retrospect and studying traditional introspection of history, try hard to hold the development mechanism and construction of the Education Technology theory; while analyzing the inherent characteristic and comparing Educational Technology theory with theories of other forms, hold the particularity of the Educational Technology theory and illustrate the science of the theory; have put forward the existence form of the Educational Technology theory and the sign of progressing; have analyzed the condition of theory development of Educational Technology from the visual angle of the subject, community; have certified that the reason of theory development lies in inter-dynamic between theory and practice, rendered the finally solution of achieving; and by all, point out the road that Educational Technology theory further develop in China.
