Subject matter knowledge is an important part of teachers’ professional knowledge.It is composed of common content knowledge,specialized content knowledge,and horizon content knowledge.It is the starting point for teachers’ effective teaching and plays an important role in the development of students.With the development of education and the progress of information technology in China,various kinds of auxiliary learning software represented by search-question software appear in competition,and the phenomenon that teachers use search-question software is also increasingly visible.As a new force of teachers,pre-service teachers are in the golden period of improving SMK level.Research on the relationship between the use of pre-service teachers’ search-question software and SMK level is of great significance for improving SMK level of pre-service teachers,but relevant research is very rare.This study selects pre-service biology teachers as the research object,using literature research method,questionnaire survey method,experimental research method and interview method to explore the situation of pre-service biology teacher’s use of search-question software and the influence of the way of using search-question software on the knowledge level of subject content.This research has reached the following conclusions:(1)Judging from the basic situation of pre-service biology teachers using search-question software,the proportion of people who have used search-question software is high.Using search-question software is a major way for pre-service biology teachers to solve subject and professional problems.Most people use search-question software mainly to get answers and analysis.It is believed that the SMK level of is the main reason that affects the frequency of using search-question software.Judging from the knowledge and attitude towards the use of search-question software,most pre-service biology teachers who have used search-question software believe that the positive impact of search-question software on the development of SMK is greater than the negative impact,and the greatest help is to answer specific questions and check for deficiencies,but it is easy to increase the inertia of the searcher;the research subjects who have not used the search-question software subjectively think that the search-question software is not helpful,and the intention to use it is not strong.(2)The use of search-question software does not necessarily affect the SMK level of pre-service biology teachers,and different ways of using search-question software have different effects.Using search-question software to search for answers to questionable questions has no significant effect on the SMK level of pre-service biology teachers.Using search-question software to view answers and analysis has a positive effect on the SMK level of pre-service biology teachers.(3)Subjective and objective factors will affect the results of the experiment.In many cases,the factors that affect the results of the experiment are often the subjective attitude of the research subjects themselves,and in a few cases it is the influence of uncontrollable external factors.In this study,there is a certain gap between the actual results of the third group and the experimental expectations,a large part of the reason may be attributed to the research object did not answer the questions strictly according to the set requirements,and the attitude towards the research is more negative.Finally,based on relevant research results and analysis,the author gives relevant suggestions from the perspective of improving teachers’ SMK level based on teachers’ use of search software.
