With carrying on the level of physical education and health course of fundamental education , there are more requirements to the students of physical education , while the contents and methods of education are the emphasis of physical education . This thesis paper mainly concentrates on the following respects : "Investigation of documents" , "questionnaire investigation" and "interviewing the experts "are used to investigated in gymanastics teaching in physical education of middle school and college . The article advances adding contents of fundamental gymanastics to accordance with the enforcing situation of physical education and health courses in middle school . To adapt to the physical education and health courses in middle schools and enforcing situation of apparatus gymanastics , skills and jumping , gymanastics teaching in colleges need to reform .In teaching methods , students subject should be looked as important . We should use the teaching methods to encourage students' learning moviation and interesting to make student learn themselves and improve ability of adapting to society .To accordance with the variety in gymanastics teaching evaluation aspect , we should change evaluation system including abjective evaluation ,endness evaluation and absolute evaluation . We should emphasis subjective evaluation , process evaluation and ralative evaluation .
