Teacher education is always proceeding in the reform progress with the advancement of the theory of teachers'specialization and the concept of integration of teacher education. Teaching practice is very important, as it can directly affect the quality of the teacher education, it is the bridge to link the theory and educational practice together, and it can be seen as the"clinical"link for the teacher education. On-post teaching practice is brand new type of practice, it refers that the normal students, as full-time teachers, go to school in the remote and poor area and complete the teaching task independently with the supervisors'guidance for a semester.Hebei Normal University has done well in the on-post teaching practice program, it is a representative in China. College of Physical Education of Hebei Normal University began to participate in"On-post teaching practice program"since 2006. In the first phase, the college sent 11 students to conduct practice in 9 elementary and middle schools in the rural areas in Shahe County, Wei County and Nangong County of Xingtai. Then with the development of this program, until the 12th phase, 159 students are assigned to 106 rural schools of 11 cities in Hebei province. Up to now, College of Physical Education of Hebei Normal University has already sent 590 students to the rural areas to make on-post teaching practice.Through the practice, it is found that there exists some problems in the PE teaching process carried out by our on-post teachers, and the main problem is what to teach in the PE class.This thesis takes the needs in the reality as starting point, makes research with the topic of on-post teaching practice---the new type in the reform of educational practice in the normal universities and colleges in the background of a new round of reform of physical courses, adopting the literature data, questionnaire and mathematical statistics. Theoretically the thesis makes exploitation on the concept, subject, principles and methods of the contents of PE teaching during on-post teaching practice; on this basis, it also makes surveys and analysis about the present condition of PE class in the practice base of College of Physical Education of Hebei Normal University and about the exploitation of the teaching contents; in this process, many problems and defects are found, the researcher is committed to putting forward the measures and the relevant case designs. It aims to enrich the PE teaching contents, to cultivate the students'interest in PE, to enhance the effect of on-post teaching practice in the normal universities and colleges, to improve the growth of the specialization of PE teachers, and also to provide basis for the reform of PE courses in normal universities and colleges.The research mainly draws the following main conclusions:1. The exploitation of the PE teaching contents is to analyze and arrange the PE curriculum resources and finally apply them to PE teaching through selection, modification, integration and expansion. The subject of this thesis means to exploit the PE teaching contents under the special circumstances of on-post teaching practice. The main body of the research includes specialists in Physics, the instructors in the college, PE teachers and the students in the rural schools, and the on-post interns. The research follows principles of suitability, health, economics, nationality, interest and safety. There are four main ways to conduct the exploitation of the PE teaching contents, namely, selection, modification, integration and expansion, they are not fully independent and they can exist in combination. In order to make better exploitation, the interrelations among the four approaches should be understood correctly.2. I t is found that there are some problems in the process of exploitation of the PE teaching contents in on-post teaching practice of College of Physical Education of Hebei Normal University: the external conditions of the exploitation could not be guaranteed; there are not enough PE teachers in the rural schools, and the enthusiasm of exploiting PE teaching contents needs to be enhanced; the interns are lack of experience and awareness of exploitation, the courses they teach are dull; the students have no interest and learn passively; the exploitation is inadequate on the national and folk sports and the newly-developed sports.3. In this thesis, the measures and case designs about the exploitation of the PE teaching contents in on-post teaching practice of College of Physical Education of Hebei Normal University are proposed.
