Family Education is an extraordinary flower perfuming in the Chinese ancient education development history. Her deep social foundation and strong living-power make Chinese traditional theory can be toughly, completely saved and continued although it had been deprecated for several times. The assistance, supplement and saving functions of Ancient Family Education to Official Education are unique; at the same time, its contributes to sociak political stabilization and national talent cultivation are extremely outstanding. In different classes and kinds of Family Educations, this study only discusses the common core family children education. It mainly uses the literature-analyzing method to discuss comprehensively from the aspects of idea origin, theoretical foundation, social foundation, objective, content,principle and characteristic. As far from Dynasty Zhou, the ancients had proposed that Family Education should " be done properly from the incipience", namely, the incipient education imposed on children should be done cautiously and consciously. Also they had formed comparatively systematical and complete children education theory very early, using traditional humanism theory as the main educationally theoretical foundation, which has been guiding Chinese family children education for over 2000 years, has had no dramatic changes on theory until contemporary time and has developed the good tradition of emphasizing family incipient education, embodying Chinese people's characteristics. It should be conformed that after the useful and the useless experiences of traditional children education being developed, discarded as well as being trimmed, it is able to provide many main references and meaningful edifications for modern family education andchildren education. As referring to the abroad advanced experiences, we should explore our national excellent heritage, combining tradition and modern to make it refreshed.
