At present, the laggard way of life and customs in the countryside have a negative effect on the physical and psychological development of the high school students there. Meanwhile, the course of physical hygiene is not being satisfactorily taught, which is quite worrying. Therefore it is rather necessary to carry out physical hygiene studies hi biology teaching at rural junior middle schools.The purpose of my thesis is fostering students' health consciousness, hygienic behavior and habits through teaching experiments and the special advantages of biology teaching. With comparative study of the experimental class and the common one, I shall further prove the satisfactory results achieved by junior middle school biology teaching. My thesis is an active research into physical hygiene teaching being connected with biology teaching. I apply questionaries, interviews, talks, documents and experiments to do all-round research on carrying out physical hygiene studies in rural junior middle school biology teaching. The theses can be divided into seven parts.Part one, the present situation of physical hygiene education. I mainly use documentation for a thorough understanding of the present situation of physical hygiene at home and abroad.Part two, the necessity to carry out such studies. There are three aspects: the first one, an analysis of the hygiene condition of China's farmers through documentation; the second, an investigation into physical hygiene education in my district; the third, a discussion on the significance of physical hygiene being carried out in rural junior middle schools.Part three, the grounds for carrying out physical hygiene in rural junior middle school biology teaching. There are four aspects. First, it meets the demands of quality education. Second, it is based on the theories of the on-going fundamental education reform. Third, it agrees with the humanitarianism education theories. Fourthly, it agrees with the education policies of our Party.Part four, the contents of my study and concrete measures. I mainly use the experiment method to carry out physical hygiene in my work. And I also develop the contents of physical hygiene education from biology teaching in order to set up the joining point and determine the application of concrete teaching methods. At the same time, I use real teaching case to explain it.Part five, the results of study and analysis. Through the results, I analyze the difference between the experimental class and the common one, the level of hygiene general object, behavior and habits and its effects on daily management and biology teaching.Part six, conclusion. I argue that it is necessary and practical to carry out physical hygiene education in rural junior middle schools, and it's also a pattern of communicative teaching. The experimental class has improved greatly in hygienic knowledge, attitudes, behavior habits and everyday management. And it also boosts biology teaching.Part seven, suggestions. There are two aspects, the first one being those on physical hygiene education to be carried out in rural junior middle schools and the second one being those towards the education administration departments.My thesis has its own purposes and is quite creative. I hope it can be used for references by my craft brothers.
