Aesthetic is a necessary component of quality education. Because of the national attention on the development of quality education, aesthetic education has the opportunities for progressive development. In the narrow sense, aesthetic education makes a person know and aware beauty, then develops their power to appreciate beauty and create beauty. In this new century,new period, the comprehensive talents with high temprament is ugently needed to adapt to the all-round social progress. The state promotes the school aesthetic education vigorously in recent years,because the function of aesthetic education of art can develop the students’ ability completely from the mind, body, and spirit.Since November 1996, in which time Sichuan deploys the "Nine Five" school art education work, the Ministry of Education also has introduced some developing policies about the art of education. In 2014, the Ministry of Education made relevant comments, from the curriculum of universities and schools to the construction of teachership; from teaching resources to the mechanisms of management, evaluation and protection. In 2015-2016, more comprehensive implementations of arts education in school work were achieved in the provinces and cities throughout the country.In the new period of social development, arts education in schools is more promoted to adjust measures to fit local conditions and form the characteristic curriculum. Especially, our country is a multi-ethnic country. There are too many essence of national culture for the modern young people to concern and study. Rich resources of national culture, custom, singing and dancing are good development advantages for school art education, responding to a nation for the work of art education actively.The age level of primary and middle school students is relatively large, and the plasticity of primary and middle school students is also stronger. So it’s a very important stage for their growing up and a better period in which the benefit of arts education can be mostly reflected on their development.Thus, the present paper is on this idea. It uses the theory of ecology education, a new theoretical perspective, to study Lijiang City School’s regional dance education.By analyzing the influence of ecological factors on Lijiang City School’s regional dance education, it tries to make a few suggestions for future improvement of dance education of the local primary and secondary schools.The paper consists of an introduction, three chapters and the conclusion of five parts.The introduction outlines the background and current status of the main topics of this paper, the significance, the value of literature review and the thesis framework. The first chapter briefly intruduces educational theory and ecology dance pedagogy. From their common ground, we can better explain how to use their cross. We can also make the basic position for the relevant points of dance education ecology. According to the relevant literature and materials obtained by field survey, the second chapter outlines the ecology distribution of the primary and middle schools and the status of dance education, At the same time, it makes an analysis of the ecological factors respectively,which limite the development of dance education. In the sight of the main issues for the second chapter, the third chapter will come up with ideas one by one, and give some recommenditions to improve, from the school environment, the teaching program, to teaching subjects and teaching evaluation. The conclusion is mainly the full text of a comprehensive summary and conclusion.
