Dance is the oldest form of art in the history of mankind.In the initial primitive society period,compared with other art forms,dance first existed as a tool for people to communicate with each other,because dance could express people's emotions and promote good communication.These dances had different social roles in different periods.With the progress of The Times and the development of social civilization,dance has gradually penetrated into all areas of people's life.In the field of education,the establishment of dance classes has become an important way to promote the healthy development of students and improve their quality.The outline of the national plan for medium-and long-term education reform and development(2010-2020)defines "putting people first and promoting quality education as the strategic theme of education reform and development".With the popularization of quality education,the importance of art education has been recognized and valued step by step.In order to adapt to the various requirements of the current society,in fact,we all know that in the student's basic education is an indispensable education is our art education.Not only such traditional art courses as music or fine arts are gradually pushed higher and higher,but also new art courses like dance have been officially included in the curriculum of some primary and secondary schools.However,in spite of this,there are still many problems in the popularization of dance courses in primary and secondary schools.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly elaborates the significance of choosing the topic,the current research situation at home and abroad,and the research methods.The second chapter is the current situation of dance education in primary and secondary schools in China.It mainly focuses on the influence of traditional education concepts and some problems faced by the opening of dance courses at this stage,such as the lack of dance teaching facilities and dance teaching materials,the uneven professional level of teachers.The third chapter elaborates the necessity of popularizing dance education in primary and secondary schools from the historical reasons,the call of the times,the relationship between aesthetic education and dance education,and its value;the fourth chapter describes the feasibility of popularizing dance education in primary and secondary schools,respectively,from the support of the state and the concept of curriculum implementation,focusing on highlighting dance practice and dance culture.Xi.Dance education is a particularly important part of quality education in primary and secondary schools.It has incomparable advantages in promoting students' aesthetic education and improving students' comprehensive quality.Dance training will promote students' physical and mental health,comprehensive quality and comprehensive coordination ability.It will also play a very important role in the reform and overall development of quality education in primary and secondary schools.However,from the current situation of primary and secondary education,the development of dance education is not very ideal.Schools and parents all pay attention to cultural lessons,thus greatly ignoring the importance of dance education in quality education.Therefore,students,parents,schools,social and educational administrative departments should work together to popularize dance education.
