Collage Entrance Examination(CEE), the most important nationwide examination in china, is a bridge connecting secondary education and higher education and is acting as a baton in the reform and development of education at the same time. The reform for the Examination never stops and New Curriculum Reform(NCR) for regular high school began in 1999. Experiment is the foundation of physics and physics experiment is the key point which must be tested in CEE. CEE has great influence on teaching and study because of its selection and guide function.After NCR, enormous change happened both in the content and form of the CEE physics test. More attention has been paid to the cultivation of students’ capability.Therefore, there must be of great significance to analyze the content form and requirement of the physics experiment question in CEE to figure out current situation of students’ experimental capability as well as the factors which affect their capability. After that, how to test the experiment capability in CEE and how to improve the capability are also two valuable questions which is absolutely wealth being studied and discussed.On the one hand, this research provides a reference for senior high school physics experiment teaching so that those prime teachers can easily know about the NCR and improve their teaching level by building comprehensive teaching model for helping with the students’ improvement more efficiently. On the other hand, this research has both theoretical and practical significance in improving students’ experiment capability because it helps students to improve their scientific quality and learn how to learn. In a word, this research promoting reform of the physics teaching content in senior high school is necessary for NCR and is a reference provided for the reform of CEE.The main researching methods in this paper are documentary method and questionnaire method and the paper includes three parts in detail as follow.First and foremost, test questions in physics experiment part in CEE have been analyzed. The statistics including labels, scores and testing centre of the experiment test questions in 2014 from 14 different areas has been noted. At the same time,statistics of the experiment test questions having appeared since NCR started from2010 to 2014 in Yunnan province have also been collected. By using these data, the features, rules and trend of the test have been analyzed so that we have summarized the requirement for students’ experiment capability. Secondly, under current situation of NCR, we surveyed some of the senior two, senior three and cram school students from Chuxiong County, Yunnan, about their experiment capability and performance in the experiment test question. Then, we found that the students can hardly have chance to practice on physics experiment and the majority of them don’t have enough passion on physics experiment so that they are not good at analyzing,rethinking or improving the experiment which means they have to improve their theoretical ability, operational ability, analytical ability and quality for experiment.Last but not least, students’ capability was classified by theoretical ability,operational ability, analytical ability and quality for experiment in order to figure out the factors which hinder students’ experiment capability improvement during our teaching and come up with some advice and strategy on cultivating their capability.In this way, the reform for physics experiment teaching can be promoted and students’ experiment capability can be improved so that our students can deal with physics experiment test question in CEE proficiently.
