In the background of the new curriculum reform, geography emotion, attitudes and values as a separate dimension curriculum goal is proposed with the all-round development of students. Based on modern learning theories, questionnaire investigation was conducted on the geography emotion, attitudes and values of students who use PEP required gegraphy teaching materials in senoir high school. Through comparison and analysis of the results of the survey in terms of some specific criteria can we grasp the current status of them. Finally I propose some suggestions, including cultivating the geography emotion, attitudes and values step by step, combing with other two dimensions of curriculum objectives that knowledge and skill, process and method of integration as an organic whole, keeping penetrating and paying more attention to the class generation. Specifically, the cultivation of geography emotion can be achieved through the creation of situation, empathy, and aesthetic education, national consciousness; attitude towards geography emphasizes on the aspects of scientific truth-seeking, inquiry and cooperation and actively enterprising; the formation of geography values take the value ideas of geography itself as basis, requiring the teachers and students regulate and promote themselves at the same time. This is not only conducive to promote the effective implementation of the objectives of emotion, attitudes and values in geography teaching in high school, but also is of great significance to students’ all-round development and implementation of quality education. |
