Ways And Means Of Environmental Education In High School Geography Teaching

Harmony is the harmony of man and environment in the 21 st century. Environment and environmental problem is one of the most concern of the modern people. Environmental education is also attaches great importance to the education field, because it is a kind of quality of people’s education, and a good ecological environment is the basic condition of sustainable development. By conducting environmental education can improve the environmental consciousness of the whole nation, so the environment education is imperative.However, at present, the environment problem is very serious: the haze weather brought serious worry to our daily life; groundwater pollution has become a serious threat to the survival of mankind; disturbing noise pollution occurs from time to time. So, it is necessary and urgent to raise the environmental consciousness of the whole nation. This article mainly discusses the connotation of environmental education, environmental education in high school geography teaching theory and how to carry out environmental education of middle school students. At present, in the teaching practice, teachers can carry on the environmental education in the course of geography, especially in such subjects, elective courses can also set up a specialized on Environmental Education in our school, school-based courses in elective courses related to environmental education. This paper takes the high school geography teaching environmental education as the main research content, using the literature method,survey method, case analysis and other methods to analyze the ways and methods of environmental education in the teaching practice.
