Since the Industrial Revolution,all aspects of society have been developing rapidly.At the same time,accompanied by all kinds of environmental pollution sweeping over the world,air,water pollution,land desertification and other environmental problems have become increasingly prominent,and have a variety of negative impacts on human development,which has attracted great attention,and more and more people at home and abroad have begun to study it.Geography is a highly integrated subject,which is closely related to the environment.Only by raising the environmental awareness of the whole people can they have good environmental behavior.As the main learning group,senior high school students have learning advantages that can not be ignored.This paper is divided into the following six chapters:The first chapter describes the research background,purpose and significance of environmental education by using the method of literature research,and uses the method of literature analysis to analyze the research progress at home and abroad,and explains its theoretical basis;In the second chapter,the feasibility and necessity of implementing environmental education in geography teaching in senior high school are expounded by using the content analysis method of textbooks,and the concrete connection between them is explained;Chapter 3 makes a sample survey of students and geography teachers in some cities and counties of North China by using questionnaire survey method.It is found that there are mainly the following problems in high school geography teaching at present: students’ basic knowledge of environment and ability of environmental protection action are weak,they pay less attention to the environmental changes around them,they are greatly influenced by family and social environmental behavior,and schools’ emphasis on environmental education.Insufficient vision,lack of teachers’ overall teaching concept based on core literacy,monotonous and tedious way of implementing environmental education in schools,and single way of evaluating students by teachers;The fourth part uses the questionnaire analysis method to put forward some teaching suggestions for the problems in the third chapter;In the fifth chapter,the case design method is used to design the third section of the third chapter of the compulsory high school geography textbook of People’s Education Press,so as to promote the better integration of environmental education and high school geography textbook;The sixth part is the main conclusion of this paper.It draws a conclusion that teachers should have a good awareness of environmental education,deeply analyze the knowledge points related to the environment in textbooks,select appropriate methods according to different teaching contents,and establish various evaluation mechanisms to enable students to understand basic environmental knowledge and major environmental problems in diverse teaching forms.At the same time,it also points out that in teaching,students should have a good awareness of environmental education.In the process,teachers should pay attention to the combination of students’ theory and practice,design the way of field environmental investigation as far as possible to strengthen students’ environmental behavior and enhance students’ environmental literacy.At the same time,it also discusses the innovative points and shortcomings of the paper,and looks forward to the implementation of environmental education research.
