A Study On The Action Of Extracurricular Reading In Suburban Primary School

Reading has very important effect in human develop process. The ability of reading is relative to human personal future and the country’s fortune. The importance of extracurricular reading has already been ratified by educational circles. But in actual practice, there are seldom people can perform well in extracurricular reading process. For the senior student, without the help of teachers and parents, they still can read by themselves. But for junior student, especially in countryside school, they know seldom words, have weak understanding and poor book source. So, it is impossible for them to read by themselves. So the writer of this dissertation based on own practice experience in a countryside school. It introduces actual research of junior students’extracurricular reading. And it based on serious investigation and careful analysis for countryside school junior students’extracurricular reading. And it also investigate and analyze the parents’ guidance for their children in extracurricular reading. And explain the communication between parents and teachers. Based on theoretical principle, current reading status and the summary and thinking of the-practice. It works on the cooperation between teachers and parents and summarize the successful experience. This research tries to remove utilitarian tendency from family, work out effective method for cooperating with parents. It also tries to cultivate junior students’reading interest and help them develop good reading habits. So achieve the effect "1+1>2" for junior student extracurricular reading in countryside school.
