The propose of cultural power strategy emphasizes the importance of culture. As a major part of Chinese culture, the traditional culture of minorities also need to protect and development in our country. So that all ethnic minorities could keep going in the modern cultural trends not perish, and carry forward the spirit of them. The multi-ethnic and its excellent culture created by them are unique cultural treasures of Yunnan. But many traditional cultures of ethnic minorities has been a huge impact in this fast-paced modern society. Excellent traditional culture gradually being forgotten in modern society, and the signs of is arising.As social activities that nurture human beings, education Influenced by social, economic, politics and culture. But education in minority areas affected not only by this factors, but also by the local traditional ethnic culture, customs and national identity. Education in Yunnan and other ethnic minority areas especially community education should considered ethnic factors when they carry out regional ethnic cultural and educational activities, and should take up the historical mission of cultural innovation, And then put the neglected minority folk cultural resources into the educational content, So these precious national memory would be protect, so young generations continue to make the spirit of survival and national intelligence of survival that produce in their daily life and production form to flourish and become living culture.Therefore, this paper will use literature analysis, interviews, participant observation to research the status of the educational activities that protect Huayao Yi people’s cultural heritage in Shaochong town in Shiping community. And analysis the operation mechanism of Community Education that reflect in Huayao Yi people’s cultural heritage in Shaochong town. Then,this paper will summarize operating mechanism of minority community education from the internal factors and external factors. Finally, the depth study will be done and recommendations for development of community education in ethnic minority areas will be given. This paper consists of the following four components:The first part: introduction will talk about why did the author make this research, and meaning of this research; it also will introduce research content, research methods,difficulties and research review about foreign and domestic community education. The second part describes the embroidery culture of Huayao Yi in Shaochong towm. The third part of this paper will investigate and analysis the current situation of community education that aim to protect embroidery culture in Shaochong including the main content of embroidery culture education, the ways and means adopted during education activities, education objects and external environmental factors. In this paper, the fourth part will give some advice about the development of community education in Shaochong base on the operational mechanism that has taken shape on the education of embroidery culture. Part Ⅴ:summary. We will think about the insufficient of this research and summary the operational mechanism of community education in minority areas.
