The study of learning strategy has always been a focus in the education, and thestudy of English learning strategies is English a common concern of educators andlearners of English. The study of English learning strategies is the learning strategyunder the discipline knowledge strategy research category. In the“CompulsoryEducation English Curriculum Standard "(2011) has taken the learning strategies ineducation on the basis of phase one of the main objective of English curriculum.Research on English learning strategies and penetration of learning strategy trainingin English teaching is facing today’s English teachers is an important task. Thetraditional teachers’ system already can not adapt to the current educational reformand curriculum reform. Most students in the face of inefficient and even invalidlearning strategies, we a line of education workers should what to do, how to do andhow to do it, this is an urgent problem.This study is about to group cooperation learning teaching mode and learningmode, the previous traditional English teachers "cramming education" teachingmode reform, group cooperative learning strategy in grade students in Englishlearning strategy use of a positive attempt. In this paper refer to the domestic andforeign scholars on learning strategies and English learning strategy, cooperativelearning group strategy, on the basis of research results of the above three theories,summarizes the research status at home and abroad, analyzes the present juniormiddle school English classroom teaching requirements and the characteristics ofEnglish learning, for junior high school grade three students, and to the groupcooperative learning strategy use in English classroom teaching design for differentcases, and class.The authors of the paper in Kunming No.24middle school third grade twoclasses, a total of120students for ten weeks. Based on related researchquestionnaires, classroom observation, interviews and after class before and after theexperiment and research on related project survey and comprehensive comparisonand analysis of relevant data, obtained the "group cooperative learning strategy ingrade students in English learning strategy use of" the grade students in theimprovement of English academic achievement has certain promoting significance. This study results support and verify the group cooperative learning strategy ingrade students in English learning strategy use of the validity of the assumption, thatin general, group cooperative learning strategy in grade students in English learningstrategies can improve the application of most of the students learning English.Teachers to help students to establish a scientific and effective learningstrategies, not only can improve the teachers’ classroom appeal, to improve theteaching efficiency, and is quite effective in improving the students’ grades. Suchease, classroom teachers will teach students more learn more easily, to furtherimprove the students’ interest in learning, students got the power, will make greaterprogress, thus into the virtuous circle of teaching work.
