Based on the practice of school-based curriculum development (SBCD) in Hschool, the study discusses that the relationship between SBCD and professionaldevelopment of teachers is mutual promotion and dynamic generation, which can beexposed from two aspects: one is that SBCD promotes teacher professionaldevelopment; the other is that teacher professional development influences SBCD.Besides, the thesis puts forward that achieving their interaction needs support fromexternal and internal conditions. According to previous studies and actual situation inH school, the paper defines SBCD and professional development of teachers thesetwo core conceptions, reviews the literature, and comments on the existing research.On this basis, it reveals deeply by investigating the basic situation in H school thatSBCD brings growth for teachers in professional sense, knowledge structure,self-reflection ability and cooperation; and it also points out that teacher professionaldevelopment helps teachers change their motivation on participating in SBCD andimproves the quality of it. Through the analysis, it is found that there is a positiveinteraction and dynamic generation relationship in SBCD and teacher professionaldevelopment. However, reaching the relationship requires the supporting fromexternal resources and perfect system. What is more important is that teachers arewilling to join in it and able to improve themselves. In the end, the study suggests thatthe educational administrative department, school and teachers work together tocreate favorable conditions to achieve the interaction between SBCD and professionaldevelopment of teachers to improve the quality of teaching.
