A Study On Job Burnout Of College Student Work Team

With the development of the higher education in our country and the reformation of the education system, professional ennui (PE) of college counselor teachers has become a hot issue in recent years. Since1990s, a number of undergraduate colleges and universities have been founded successively in order to fit in with the needs of the transition of higher education from the type of elite to that of popularization. Therefore, a large number of teachers specialized in student affairs have become younger in age and more professional in specialization. It is significant to do research on the form and features of PE of college counselor teachers, which will benefit the development of their professions and the scientific and sustainable development of the local colleges and universities.With this background, some preventive measures are put forward based on the research on college counselor teachers collected randomly from some colleges and universities and the analysis of the causes of PE of college counselor teachers: Altogether there are four parts in the thesis.Part one briefly introduces the significance and background of the study. The theoretical and practical researches of PE of teachers in institutions of higher learning abroad and at home are reviewed in this part. The methodology employed, including the research objectives is also introduced in this part.Part two analyzes the symptoms of PE of college counselor teachers based on the interpretation of the term PE, its features, internal qualities and external existing forms.Part three covers the negative effects of PE of college counselor teachers from three aspects:the personal development of teachers of student affairs, students and their families, and institutions of higher learning and the society. Besides, this part makes deep analysis on the causes of PE, especially the internal causes, from four aspects:teachers their own, students, institutions of higher learning and the society.Part four puts forward some preventive measures to PE from the perspective of the construction of the social supporting system, the institution supporting system and self-supporting system based on the analysis of the causes and existing forms of PE of college counselor teachers.
